January 2013 Reading Selection

Get out your calendar we have a new book to pencil in for 2013. We will be starting the year with Connie’s pick “The  Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry” by Rachel Joyce. The book looks fun even if the main character is described in the review as , “the human equivalent of a potted geranium.”

This brings our current list to:

  • November: Caleb’s Crossing, Geraldine Brooks, host: TBD
  • December: PARTY, June’s
  • January: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, Rachel Joyce

For those interested in teh almost-reads the two runner’s up proposed were:

A Hologram for the King, Dave Eggers
and  Canada by Richard Ford.
